scroll to July 4th. I cannot WAIT!! Yeah, it's probably a year or more off, but I'm still stoked about it.

Sun, August 6, 2006 - 8:00 AMOMG OMG OMG OMG OMG....pant pant pant....ok. Yes I can't wait either. I have also heard many moons ago that Good Omens is also in the works (here's to hoping the schmuck who did Hitchhiker's Guide isn't directing that one too....)

Re: Stardust
Mon, August 13, 2007 - 4:18 PMI saw it last night and it's wonderful!!! I can't wait to see it again. If we did not see a later showing we would have bought more tickets and just went right back in and watched it again. -

Mon, August 13, 2007 - 9:02 PMI agree, it was very well done for a Hollywood rendition. I was pleased to see the British humor carrying through, too. :) I think I'll see it again in the theater as well. -

Re: Stardust
Tue, August 14, 2007 - 12:59 AMI've seen it twice (and am seeing it again tomorrow, silly me). So yeah, I very much liked it. They changed quite a lot, but -- probably because NG collaborated a fair amount on the script -- it has the same feel as the book, although a bit lighter.
I still prefer the book, but the movie is excellent. I third (fourth?) the 'go see it!' -

Re: Stardust
Mon, September 3, 2007 - 9:21 AMThe book will always be better than the movie, but the movie stands alone as a beautiful story too! I am so thrilled with how it came out. Stardust is by far my most favorite of his books so it was great to see how nice a job they did on translating it to film. Loved that the british humor stayed in there too!
