I went to Chicago a couple of weekends ago and saw it. It's not like it was a black box production, the backdrop forest was done in a nice woodcut type style, the costumes were appropriately period looking, and I think they did a pretty good job making the most of the limited set pieces. Granted, the fairy outfit and the fiber optic leash were a bit bland/jarring, but the unicorn, tree, and dwarf (?) costumes were imaginative enough to make up for it. If it were produced up here, I'd definitely see it again and drag my friends to it.

That, and Uncle Fun across the street, made it a great trip.
